A child was hospitalized after being found face down in Lobo Lake on Wednesday, September 18th, 2019.

KAMC News reports that the guardians that were with the child at the city park fair found them in the water at around 2 p.m.

Levelland Police Chief Albert Garcia said that the Levelland director of parks and one of his employees immediately responded after hearing screams for help.

The child was pulled from the lake and revived by CPR. Garcia said that the child was "crying, breathing, and still a little lethargic."

The child was then taken to Covenant Health Levelland.
