Texas Tech soccer has a new associate head coach.

Todd Schulenberger has been hired to fill the program’s associate head coaching position.

Tech head soccer coach Tom Stone made the announcement early Tuesday.

Schulenberger spent the past four years at the University of Missouri, and helped guide Missouri to an NCAA Tournament berth last season, and helped the Tigers advance to the semifinals of the SEC tournament.

He replaces Aaron Gordon, who was named as head coach of the Mississippi State soccer program in December.

Texas Tech soccer advanced to the second round of the 2012 NCAA Tournament.
