Thursday on The Chad Hasty Show, Tiger Pratt, Lubbock City Council District 2 candidate joined the show in the KFYO studio to talk about his campaign, issues he is most concerned about, and what he is hearing from citizens while on the campaign trail.

Among the topics discussed during the interview were moves by the city of Lubbock that Pratt believes will influence growth and improvement in District 2, his view of law enforcement and the community policing model he sees as part of the solution to crime problems, and the issue of Citizen's Tower.

When asked by Hasty about what can be done to address the issue of crime, specifically in District 2, Pratt responded that he believes the police need to be much more involved in the community, and become more familiar with residents. Pratt described his view of the job that Lubbock Police Chief Greg Stevens has been doing, and said,

I am looking forward to being able to figure out what it is that he [LPD Chief Stevens] needs from us as far as council members, what resources, what infrastructure that he needs, and finding out his vision to go about solving that.
