Thursday afternoon (Oct. 4th), Frenship ISD placed Frenship High School, the Frenship 9th Grade Center and Frenship Middle School on lockout.

The lockout occurred at around 1:40 p.m. after Wolfforth Police receiving reports of suspicious activity near the three campuses. KAMC News reports police received reports of a man with a rifle near the Villas of Wolfforth, located at FM 179 and CR 7200.

However, after further investigation, a surveillance video showed the man was carrying a large stick, and not a gun.

Frenship ISD lifted the lockout around 1:50 p.m., KAMC News reports.
