Walk into just about any business this time of year and Christmas music is what you will hear. Christmas music is obviously very popular this time of year. There are the songs you love and yes the songs that maybe get on your nerves a bit.

There are the Christmas songs that bring back memories and the ones that are just fun. Of course it would be easy to guess that "All I Want For Christmas Is You" is one of the most popular Christmas songs in America, and it is. In fact, in 9 states and in D.C., Mariah Carey's hit is the favorite. But what about Texas?

According to financebuzz.com, which used Google Trends to find the most popular Christmas song in each state, the most popular Christmas song in Texas is Jose Feliciano’s “Feliz Navidad.”

"Feliz Navidad" is also the most popular Christmas song in New Mexico and Florida. Some of the other most popular Christmas songs across the nation include "Run Rudolf Run", “It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year,” “Jingle Bells,” and “Deck the Halls.”

On the flip side, financebuzz also polled Americans on the most annoying Christmas songs. The number 1 most annoying song according to Americans? "All I Want For Christmas Is You". The "Chipmunk Song" was ranked #2 and coming 3rd? "Feliz Navidad".

So I guess Christmas music can be pretty polarizing. Still, it's great to hear this time of year.
