There Is A New Millionaire In West Texas After Resident Claims Texas Lottery Winnings
Talk about a way to kick off a new year. Becoming a millionaire.
I remember when I was a little kid and a family member would purchase scratch-off tickets just about every Friday for fun. I can't remember if anyone ever won more than $20 bucks, but I know I've never really had luck with the Texas Lotto's scratch-off tickets, even into my 40's. But if I were to win a million dollars, I'd probably do exactly what a Tahoka resident is doing, keep it quiet.
According to a report from everythinglubbock.com, a resident of Tahoka purchased a Texas Lottery scratch-off ticket in Lubbock at the Stripes location at 806 34th Street. The game was called Jackpot Millions and the Texas Lottery says this million dollar prize is the second of four top prizes.

According to the Texas Lottery, the odds of winning any prize in the game is 1 in 3.88 chances.
The winner of the million dollar prize chose to stay anonymous.
