A Texas teen has been charged with three felonies after falsely claiming that she was kidnapped and raped by three black men.

The New York Daily News reports that 19-year-old Breana Harmon told Denison police that she was taken into the woods and sexually assaulted in March by three black men in ski masks. After the incident, Harmon ran into a church with tattered clothes and scratches.

Following an investigation, police found there was no evidence of sexual assault.

Harmon was indicted and charged with two third-degree felony counts of tampering with physical evidence, one count of tampering with a government record and one state-jail felony count of tampering with a government record.

According to the Herald Democrat, Harmon faces two to 10 years in prison and $10,000 fine for the initial three felonies, plus up to two years and a $10,000 fine for the state-jail felony.
