Texas Tech to Host Seminar on Alleviating Community Poverty

A seminar on alleviating poverty will take place next Monday.

The Nurse-Family Partnership at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center will host “Bridges out of Poverty, Strategies for Professionals and Communities,” Monday, August 20^th from 8:30am to 4pm.

National guest speaker Jodi Pfarr will address the seminar and will include 15 community partners to discuss strategies for communities and providers to serve families in poverty.

The seminar will be at the Health Sciences Center Academic Classroom Building at 3601 4th Street, Room 110.
