Texas Tech Student Catches Roommate On Camera Abusing His Dog [Video]

There's never a good reason to beat a dog...unless the dog is currently mauling you or someone else.

Dogs can act up, but the most effective behavior correction is also the most humane, like clapping loudly, using a squirt gun, etc. (Source: My dog isn't a complete jerk and I don't hit her.)

But the poor, precious baby in this video doesn't appear to be doing anything at all.

This disgusting monster makes me physically ill, and I hope he gets punished accordingly (I doubt he will). Animals are innocent, and dogs especially help us to be fully human. They protect us, they comfort us, and they love us.

I hope this individual gets the mental help he obviously needs. And I hope he gets charged with animal cruelty. He should NEVER be around another pet again.
