Texas Tech softball falls to Tulsa and UNLV Friday.

UNLV scored three runs over the first two innings, and added two more in the sixth to beat Tech Friday evening at Eller Media Stadium.

That loss was the second of the day for the Red Raiders, who lost 5-1 in their game against No. 18 Tulsa. The day marked the third time this year where Tech dropped back-to-back games.

In the game against UNLV, the Red Raiders stranded a season-high 15 base runners, including bases loaded in the first, third, and seventh innings.

Tech will finish their time in Las Vegas on Saturday morning with a doubleheader against Boise State, with first pitch scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday.
