Texas Tech’s soccer team will be hosting a group’s game of the week.

Red Raider soccer is currently in the midst of their best season in school history, and will host their season finale Friday night at the John Walker Soccer Complex.

They will play against Big 12 rival Oklahoma State in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America College Game of the Week Friday evening.

The game, which begins at 7 p.m., will be televised national on the Fox Soccer Channel.

This is the first time that Tech has hosted the College Game of the Week”, and is just one of right women’s college soccer games selected this year to appear on the weekly college soccer showcase.

“This is a chance to show the country our great university, our soccer program and our great fan base,” said Tech head coach Tom Stone. “The environment at the John Walker Soccer Complex is truly one of the best in the nation, and I think that will be showcased Friday night.”

Tech goes into Friday night after tying the school records for wins in a single season, after beating Kansas in Lawrence last Sunday. The Red Raiders are currently 7-1 in games at the John Walker Soccer Complex this year.
