Texas Tech Alumnus Named President of the National Trial Lawyers
A Texas Tech Alumnus is spearheading a nationwide organization for lawyers. Mark Lanier has been named the 2018 President of the National Trial Lawyers. According to the organization, it is invitation only and helps promote the highest ethical standards for lawyers.
During his distinguished legal career, Lanier has practiced cases in torts, commercial litigation, and class-action lawsuits. Lanier commented on the award in a press release saying,
"It's a great honor and an enormous thrill to lead an organization with such a distinguished membership and important charge."
The Lanier Law Firm has offices in Houston, New York, and Los Angeles; and the Lanier Auditorium at the Texas Tech School of Law is named after Mark.
