Senators John Cornyn and Kay Bailey Hutchison both responded in written statements to the attack that killed U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens.   In his statement, Cornyn said:

“I am outraged by this terrorist attack against our country and committed to bringing these terrorists to justice. Yesterday’s attack is a reminder that violent extremism is alive and well in the Middle East and that we must continue to eliminate those who seek to do the U.S. harm.”

In her statement, Hutchison said:

“Those responsible for this attack must be brought to justice. This loss will not weaken our resolve to work with people and governments worldwide who share our commitment to freedom."
