The Texas Comptroller’s Office will conduct taxpayer seminars across the state this month for business owners.

During the month of April, the Comptroller’s office will conduct 18 free taxpayer seminars, and will have representatives on hand to answer questions and provide assistance to attendees.

These seminars will include information about how to properly fill out tax forms, and file and pay taxes electronically. Information about e-services will also be available to help taxpayers manage their accounts online.

“We want to empower Texas business owners by making resources and information accessible,” said R.J. DeSilva, spokesperson for the Comptroller’s office. “Conducting these seminars and making our team of tax specialists available provides guidance for businesses.”

The seminar for Lubbock will be held on Monday, April 14th, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Lubbock Small Business Development Center, located at 2579 South Loop 289, Suite 114.

More information is available by calling the Lubbock Field Office at 783-0316.
