Texas Tech Museum Changes Hours After State Funding Cuts

State funding cuts mean a change of hours for the Museum of Texas Tech University. Beginning September first the museum and Moody Planetarium will open at 10 am and close at 5pm Tuesday through Saturday.

The museum will no longer have extended 8:30 pm hours on Thursdays. The museum will now also close not only on major holidays, but on tech academic holidays as well. The museum will continue to host the First Friday Art Trail every month from six to nine.
