Saturday will be the last day for you to trade in your old car or booster seat at Target.

The campaign began on April 22nd and ends on May 4. We've contacted the Target stores in Lubbock and they confirmed they're participating in this promotion.

Target is partnered with Waste Management in the effort to recycle old seats. The first car seat trade-in event for Target was in 2016. Since then, Target has recycled half a million car seats -- more than 7.4 million pounds of materials.

According to the Target website, here's how it works: "Guests who trade in their old car seats will receive a 20 percent off coupon toward a new car seat, car seat base, travel system, stroller or select baby home gear, such as playards, high chairs, swings, rockers and bouncers."

Coupons will be eligible through Saturday, May 11, 2019.
