It's a new year which means it's officially January and that can only mean one thing, it's National Blood Donor Month.

Vitalant, the only nonprofit blood provider for hospitals in West Texas, says that they are experiencing a critical shortage of blood and platelets.

The testing is available at Vitalant’s popup clinic inside the South Plains Mall from Thursday through Sunday if you also donate blood.
