A new single-day record of confirmed Coronavirus cases was reported in Lubbock on Tuesday with 61.

The Cheesecake Factory will open in Lubbock this December. It's the first West Texas location for The Cheesecake Factory.

The company is also looking to hire over 260 employees for the new location at the South Plains Mall.
