The Black Friday shopping frenzy in Lubbock has moved predominantly to Thursday, Thanksgiving Day, with many stores staying open through Friday night. Below is a list of Black Friday store hours for the major outlets in Lubbock, plus when the sales begin at the 24-hour big box stores.

The Texas Auto Burglary and Theft Prevention Authority (ABTPA), a division of the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles, is urging drivers to protect their vehicles during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.
