Sometimes just the name of a business can make you hungry or even make you wonder what they sell. And when I heard the name Sweet & Fluffy, I immediately thought, "that sounds like a place I need to try."
Sweet & Fluffy serves the "Best Mini Dutch Pancakes in Town," according to their Facebook page. They also sell Aguas Frescas "with a twist."
The folks at Sweet & Fluffy have been traveling to different events and festivals in Lubbock and the surrounding areas selling their Mini Dutch Pancakes for months now, and it seems as though the hard and delicious work has paid off.
Sweet & Fluffy recently announced on their Facebook page that they would be opening a storefront location in Lubbock soon. According to Lubbock in the Loop, Sweet & Fluffy will open next door to Tiff's Treats at 411 University Avenue. No date has been given yet by owners, just that they will be open soon.
If you're looking for a chance to try out Sweet & Fluffy before they open up a more permanent location, you will have a couple of options.
Sweet & Fluffy will be setup this Saturday for the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce Lubbock Uncorked Wine Festival at the American Windmill Museum. In addition to their Mini Dutch Pancakes, they'll have "new items" on the menu for the wine festival.
According to their Facebook page Sweet & Fluffy will host their last event of the year on November 20th from 6-8 p.m. at Gene Messer Ford. They will also be collecting toys for Toys for Tots and have warm drinks for sell.
Congratulations to Sweet & Fluffy. We hope they continue to see success.
