Update: Police have released new details regarding the attempted game room robbery that occurred Morning morning in East Lubbock.

It’s reported that two suspects tried to rob the Coyote Moon Game Room at 39th Street and Avenue A at around 1:40 a.m. The attempt ended with one suspect shot by police and taken to a hospital. A second suspect is still on the run.

Monday afternoon, police identified the wounded suspect as 20-year-old Isaac Jackson who is still in critical condition at UMC. About a dozen people were inside the game room at the time of the incident. Jackson could faces charges of aggravated assault on a peace officer and aggravated robbery.


Original Story: Police responded to a potential robbery Monday morning in East Lubbock and at least one suspect was shot. A statement released by the LPD says that the incident occurred at 1:40 a.m. just outside the Coyote Moon Game room at 39th Street and Avenue A.

Officers were called to the game room for a potential robbery and encountered two suspects when they arrived. One suspect aimed a gun at the officers and was shot, according to police. The wounded suspect was then taken to a hospital with series injuries.

KAMC News reports that The second suspect fled the scene and has not been located. One officer was reported to have suffered minor injuries in the encounter, but is okay. No other officers were injured and the case remains under investigation.
