Statewide Amber Alert Issued for Two Missing Sisters

A Statewide Amber Alert was issued around 4:30p Thursday for two missing sisters.

The Llano County Sheriff’s Office is searching for Misty Chyann Sloan (pictured, left). She’s described as a white, female, 15 years old, born on September 6, 1998. Sloan is 4’10”, weighing 95 lbs with brown hair and brown eyes.

The Llano County Sheriff’s Office is also searching for Savannah Meshell Sloan (pictured, below). She’s described as a white, female, 13 years old, born on November 16, 1999. The younger Sloan is 4’5”, weighing 84 lbs with blonde hair and blue eyes.

Police are searching for a suspect: Keith Taylor Mize. He’s described as a white, male, 33 years old born on April 9, 1980. He’s 5’11”, weighing 180 lbs with blond hair and hazel eyes. Mize also has a tattoo on his chest saying “Misty and Savannah My Girls”.

Mize is allegedly driving a black 2001 Ford Explorer with duct tape on the back windshield.  The vehicle has a Texas license plate B T 2- 2 2 6 1.  The suspect was last seen in Kingsland, Texas on May 1, 2013.

Law enforcement officials believe these children to be in grave or immediate danger.
