On Wednesday's edition of Lubbock's First News, Don Abbe from Silent Wings Museum talked with Tom Collins and Laura Mac about the latest going on with Silent Wings Museum.

This weekend, Silent Wings will be hosting it's "Atomic Day" event in conjunction with their current exhibit: "Alert Today, Alive Tomorrow." The exhibit takes a look at the "atomic age"  and how people prepared for a possible nuclear fallout.

"Atomic Day" will be for kids ages 8 and over, and kids will have the opportunity to create their own bottle rockets and "ray guns." The event is Saturday, May 25th, from 10:30 AM to noon. The final day of the "Alert Today, Alive Tomorrow" exhibit is also May 25th.
