On Friday's edition of Lubbock's First News Don Abbe, curator of the Silent Wings Museum, talked with Tom Collins and Laura Mac about their newest exhibit.

The Silent Wings Museum will be hosting an exhibit on the Space Shuttle Columbia. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Columbia disaster, when the shuttle disintegrated over Texas and Louisiana upon re-entry.

The exhibit will also honor local heroes Willie McCool and Rick Husband, who were both killed in the disaster. The exhibit will feature personal stories and belongings from both men, as well as shuttle debris, photos, and other memorabilia.

The Colombia exhibit will be available until March 17th, and tickets are $5. For more information on the Silent Wing Museum, visits their website at silentwingsmuseum.com.
