On Monday's edition of Lubbock's First News, Don Abbe from the Silent Wings Museum talked with Tom Collins and Laura Mac about the museum's upcoming D-Day event.

This Thursday, Silent Wings Museum will be hosting its annul D-Day memorial event. This year, the museum will host two vintage airplanes: a C-47 transport and a B-25 bomber. Both planes will be offering rides throughout the day. The C-47 will cost $75 per ride, and the B-25 will cost $395.

The museum will also have various World War II memorabilia on display for the event. The event takes place Thursday, June 6th, from 10 AM to 7 PM. The planes will be available all day, and the B-25 bomber will remain at the museum until Friday afternoon.
