Just north of Lamesa, a one-vehicle rollover on Sunday injured seven people in an SUV.

According to the Lamesa Press Reporter, a family of seven—one adult and six juveniles ages 8 to 16—were inside an SUV traveling south on Highway 87 when the vehicle went off the road and overturned three miles north of Lamesa.

The paper also reports that three of those family members were taken by medical helicopters to an unspecified hospital. Emergency crews and ambulances from Dawson County and Lynn County hospitals were also at the scene along with firefighters.

It’s unclear at this time exactly what caused the accident or the current conditions of those injured.
