Seminole Child Drowns in Backyard Pool

A child from Seminole is dead after climbing into a backyard pool. Late Tuesday afternoon a well worker heard screaming coming from a nearby home. He ran across the street and saw a woman holding her 2 year old daughter by the backyard pool. He called 911 and the child was taken to the ER at Seminole Memorial Hospital. The child died in the hospital. Investigators concluded that the child piled up objects in the yard in order to climb into the pool.
