The City of Lubbock’s annual Christmas celebration in Mackenzie Park, Santa Land, opens on Saturday. This year, Santa Land will be open nightly, 6 to 10pm, December 10 through the 23.

This year’s Santa Land features a 60-foot Christmas tree, animated displays, tradition holiday scenes and Santa Claus.

There will be live entertainment most evenings from 6:30-8:00 pm. Hot chocolate and other refreshments are available for sale at the concession stand. Parents are also welcome to bring cameras and video cameras to take photos of their children with Santa at no charge.

The entrance to Santa Land is located on the East Broadway entrance into Mackenzie Park. Admission to Santa Land is free and this is the 56th year the city has hosted the celebration.
