Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony for Buddy and Maria Elena Holly Plaza Scheduled for Monday Afternoon

Buddy’s back in the Depot District, and the City of Lubbock will hold a ribbon cutting next week commemorating the event.

The public is invited to the ribbon cutting for the new Buddy and Maria Elena Holly Plaza, and the newly-renovated Fine Arts Gallery of the Buddy Holly Center.

The ceremony will take place this upcoming Monday at 4 p.m. at the Buddy and Maria Elena Holly Plaza, located at 1824 Crickets Avenue.

The public is invited to view the statue of Buddy Holly and the newly renovated gallery space following the event.
