Rep. Randy Neugebauer Disagrees with Gingrich’s Immigration Policy
In a recent GOP presidential debate, Newt Gingrich raised eyebrows with his comments about allowing illegal immigrants to stay in the U.S. if they have been in this country for a long time. On Lubbock’s First News on KFYO, Rep. Randy Neugebauer disagreed.
“We have to have a system in this country that rewards people that do it the right way and punish the people that did it the wrong way. I don’t know that the length of time that you’ve been in this country c
hanges that perspective.”
Neugebauer said immigration is an issue that needs to be discussed in this country.
