On Monday, February 29, Dallas Cowboys Hall of Famer Randy White will serve as the guest speaker for the annual Friends of Scouting Luncheon.

"The Man-ster," Randy White was selected by the Cowboys with the second overall pick in the 1975 NFL Draft and earned co-MVP honors in the Super Bowl just three years later. Beginning his career on fire, Randy White was named to 9 consecutive Pro Bowls from '77-'85.

Nathan Baie, Scout Executive for the South Plains Council, described White as a pillar of Boy Scout values:

“Throughout his career, Randy White exemplified the Boy Scout oath of working to become physically strong, mentally awake and morally straight, he is a great role model for today’s youth.”

The Friends of Scouting Luncheon will begin Monday, at 11:30 a.m. at the Overton Hotel and Conference Center.

Registration is required to attend.
