[UPDATE]Hostage Situation at City Bank in South Lubbock Resolved [PICS]

Update 5:20 p.m. Wednesday: A white male described in his late 40s to early 50s exited the City Bank building at 82nd and Quaker with his hands held over his head. The man dropped to the ground and police took him into custody. No word yet on the man's motive, but as more information is available, we will keep you updated.

A standoff likely involving hostages at a South Lubbock bank is currently going on.

The standoff right now involves a large amount of Lubbock Police and Department of Public Safety Officers at the City Bank at 82nd Street and Quaker Avenue, just across the street from the KFYO Studios.
