In a recent interview on The Chad Hasty Show, Rick Range from the Save the Alamo Committee provided his organization's view of the heated back-and-forth currently underway over controversial plans for the future of the historic Alamo.

During Thursday's edition of the show, CEO of the Alamo, Doug McDonald, joined the broadcast to share the other side of the controversy.

McDonald talked with Hasty about the planned changes to the landmark, and refuted previous statements made by Range, and the many claims that the proposed changes will be politically correct, rather than historically accurate. During the conversation McDonald said,

If half the statements that were made on the prior show were true, I, like every Texan, would be concerned. What I can tell you, and all of your listeners is, those are simply untrue, it's totally bogus...We are going to tell the correct history of the Alamo. We always have, we always will.
