Police Searching for Man Who Fired Shots After Being Detained

Hereford Police have issued a warrant for a man accused of attempted capital murder.

KAMC News reports police stopped 33 year-old Lucio Zavala Sifuentes Junior, Friday morning around 3 a.m. after he walked in front of a patrol car.

Officers were patting Sifuentes down when he attempted to run. An officer tased Sifuentes and that’s when he fired a shot. Officers attempted to restrain Sifuentes but he fired another shot and ran away.
