Update: According to Everything Lubbock, the Petersburg police chief confirmed that Nicholas Perez is safe. The boy was found in San Angelo just before 10 a.m. Friday morning (December 6th).

Original story: The Petersburg Police Department is currently looking for 4-year-old Nicholas Andrew Perez, who they believe is in grave danger.

According to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, Perez was last seen in Lubbock on Monday, December 2nd, and is described as a Hispanic boy wearing a green shirt, blue jeans and white shoes. Perez is about 4 feet tall, weighs 45 pounds, and has black hair and brown eyes.

Police believe he might be with 21-year-old Maciela Amada Paz, who is a suspect in his disappearance. Paz is described as a Hispanic female who is 5'6'', with black hair, brown eyes, and 228 pounds. She could be driving a white early 2000s model Mitsubishi.
