Pet Supplies Plus Now Open in Southwest Lubbock
There aren't too many dedicated pet stores in Lubbock; Walter's World of Pets, Pets Plus, and PetSmart are the only three that come to mind.
Well, as of last week, there is now at least a fourth. Pet Supplies Plus opened in southwest Lubbock at 5715 82nd Street, on 82nd Street less than a half mile east of Frankford Avenue. According to the hours posted on the front door of the store, they are open seven days a week.
Pet Supplies Plus is in the building which was originally built for the Bodyworks for Women workout facility about 10 years ago. I'm assuming the building is around 5,000 square feet in size, but more importantly it has plenty of parking available in the front along 82nd Street.
Pet Supplies Plus already has a number of locations in Texas, including locations in Amarillo, Abilene and Dallas.
I haven't gone inside Pet Supplies Plus' Lubbock location, but according to their website, they have food, toys, and necessities for dogs, cats, birds, fish, and other small animals.
They also have checklists for new puppy, kitten and fish owners.
