
Parent Stabbed At Texas Elementary School Graduation Ceremony
It's not every day that a fight breaks out during a graduation ceremony. But sometimes when adults get together, bad things happen. Bad things like a fight breaking out and and someone getting stabbed.
Fort Worth Police Respond to Stabbing
The Dallas Morning News reports that police were called to a graduation ceremony Thursday at about 11:30 in the morning.
Officers responded to a call from the South Hills Elementary School. The caller told police that someone had been stabbed.
According to the Dallas Morning News, a fight broke out during a 5th grade graduation between two parents. The verbal altercation led to one parent displaying a knife then stabbing the other adult in the upper body.
The suspect, an adult male, was taken into custody near the school and faces a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, police said. The adult stabbed was taken to the hospital in unknown condition, police said.
As of this writing, police haven't released any information about the suspect.
