Opinion: There is no “Fair Share”, only a Goal of Control

For all the cries of ‘fair share’ from the left, I have come to more and more believe those words are just a nice sounding euphemism that actually leads to 100% socialistic government control of all wealth.

We see in every blue state taxes and fines being increased constantly and in every avenue.

In New York, regardless that the toll intended to pay for repairs to a bridge brought in significant profits, and by the nature of profits, an excess in funds for the maintenance of the bridge, they still increased the toll anyway to insane amounts of over $100 per trip over the bridge for trucks.

The press to gain an internet sales tax that would allow states to charge internet companies with no in-state presence state sales taxes anyway is gaining ground. It’s the same as the New York income tax that charges anyone that does business in the city for the days they are in the city, and plays a large part in why many are moving out.

At the same time children’s lemonade stands are being shut down and even a girl trying to sell mistletoe to help finance her braces was shut down by her city because she did not pay the rent to the city that pot sellers pay to peddle the drug in the park.

To liberals there will never be a “fair share” amount that will suffice until they control the economics, and thus, the lives, of their neighbors.
