One of five suspected leaders of a large gang was apprehended late yesterday afternoon in Lubbock. 40-year-old John Clark, a suspected general of the Aryan Brotherhood of Texas, was arrested at a traffic light after police received a tip from a scared former member.

Clark has been under both local and federal investigation for his involvement in the West Texas branch of the gang.  He is being held under a $100,000 bond on charges of directing a street gang and aggravated assault. His arraignment will be set for sometime next week.
