Lubbock police are searching for two men who robbed a central Lubbock restaurant Monday evening and killed an employee.

The two suspects entered One Guy from Italy, located in the 4300 block of 50th Street around 10 p.m. Monday, brandished handguns, and demanded the money from the register.

The two men grabbed a tip jar off the counter and began to flee the scene. On the way out, they encountered 26-year-old David Rowser, an employee at the restaurant, and shot him multiple times in the chest.

Rowser was taken to University Medical Center, where he died.

The suspects are both described as young Hispanic males with buzz cuts, around 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall and thin builds.

The first suspect reportedly has a light complexion, and was seen wearing a light gray hoodie and baggy clothing, as well as white-out style contact lenses.

The second suspect has a goatee and a star tattoo on the right side of his neck extending up onto his cheek. Eyewitnesses also described a second tattoo on the man, possibly a star underneath one of his eyes. He was last seen wearing a hoodie, baggy clothing, and a beanie cap. Police believe a minivan of unknown color and brand may be involved as well.

So far, no suspects have been located.
