No Serious Injuries in Crash Involving Tulia Girls Track Team

Heavy rain in Sweetwater caused a vehicle carrying the Tulia girls track team to crash.

MyPlainview.com reports the SUV carrying the girls hydroplaned out of control and crashed into a ditch. The accident, which happened at around 11 this morning, did not seriously injure anyone. The team was on their way back from a track meet in Austin.

Students were taken to a hospital in Sweetwater as a precaution, and one girl was treated for minor injuries. The team of four girls was expected to head home to Tulia as soon as they were given the clear by doctors.
