No Injuries Reported in Head-On Collision on Highway 87
On Saturday (August 9), there was a head-on collision on Highway 87 south of Woodrow.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, at about 6:15 p.m. on Saturday, a passenger car traveling west on FM 41 failed to yield the right of way and struck a southbound pickup truck on U.S. 87.
Members of the Woodrow Volunteer Fire Department and the Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office all responded to the scene, as well as EMS with the University Medical Center and troopers of Texas DPS.
As of Monday morning, there have been no reported injuries in the accident.
