On Wednesday, May 22nd, the new traffic signal at the intersection of 98th Street and Milwaukee in Lubbock was activated.

According to a City of Lubbock news release, the signal was designed to reduce delay at the intersection. This should be useful considering the rapidly developing area.

Crews will still be on-site after the signal is running to finish work at the intersection.

The City of Lubbock wishes to remind all motorists to reduce speed and eliminate distractions while in work zones.
