Now this is the kind of bakery that is right up my alley.

If you are by Tech Terrace or want some good baked goods you need to check out the new Brûlée Bakery. They are a family-owned business with a long history of professional bakers so you know they know what they are doing.

Their recipes and traditions have been passed on from generation to generation and now they are sharing their amazing pastries and treats with the Lubbock community. Everything they make is in-house and uses recipes that have been formulated over the years as well as our very cherished family recipes.

They tell me that they believe food holds a memory.

"t brings back that nostalgic feeling when you have something you haven’t had since your youth or from that trip you took ages ago. We love food and are excited to share it with the Lubbock community. Our hopes are to just make someone’s day just a little better one sweet bite at a time," said Bea Ferrel.

They offer things like desserts and pastries as well as a few savory items. Some of the items you should try are their Churro Morning Bun, French Bostok, Ham & Gouda Brioche, and Kolaches. They do take special orders for larger quantities for gatherings and events.

Honestly, all those top menu items sound amazing and I will be going by soon to try them. I can't wait.

Brûlée Bakery is open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Saturday. They are hoping to be able to extend our hours this next coming month. If you are looking to study or get out of the office, they do offer Wi-Fi to relax and have a quiet environment.

You can find out more about them on their Facebook or their location at 2605 Boston Ave, Lubbock, TX.
