Breakfast All Day? A Brand New IHOP Is Opening In Lubbock

Finally! Some good business news.

If you are looking for a new spot to grab breakfast that is open all day, you won't have to wait much longer.

IHOP is opening their 3rd location in Lubbock on Wednesday, April 9th. The new location is off the Marsha Sharp Freeway and 82nd Street. The entrance to the restaurant is off the Marsha Sharp Freeway. This IHOP location will serve southwest Lubbock and the Wolfforth area well.

Covenant Park Development

The new IHOP is part of the Covenant Park development, a massive new 72-acre mixed use development at 82nd Street and the Marsha Sharp Freeway. It will be home to shops and restaurants and even entertainment.

So far, Salata Salad Kitchen, Summer Moon Coffee, and on Wednesday IHOP will open. Other businesses such as Firehouse Subs, McDonald's and Schulman's Movie Bowl Grille will be opening as well in the future.

IHOP's Lubbock Expansion

It's good to see a restaurant expanding in Lubbock after seeing so many close at the beginning of 2025.

IHOP has two other Lubbock locations. One at 1627 University Avenue across from Texas Tech and the other at 3911 South Loop 289.
