New Chef and New Culinary Experiences Coming to the Overton Hotel

The Overton Hotel and Pecan Grill in Lubbock on Tuesday announced a new Executive Chef is bringing his expertise to Lubbock. Chef Mark Coffman will take over as the Executive Chef at Overton Hotel and Pecan Grill adding to his over 25 year career in the culinary arts.

According to a press release from the Overton Hotel and Pecan Grill, Chef Coffman will bring his knowledge of classic and regional Italian dishes right to the heart of Lubbock. Coffman will be introducing new special menu items while working with Chef Doug Noxon who will now serve as the Overton Hotel's Food and Beverage Director. The press release states that the "collaboration will bring an exciting culinary experience to both Overton Hotel and the Pecan Grill".

Not only is Coffman a chef, he is also an award winning winemaker.

Coffman brings a wealth of diverse talents to the table, having served as a consultant for over 10 years, contributing to constructing new venues and transforming restaurant concepts. He is also an award-winning winemaker who secured a gold medal at the State Fair of Texas in 1986 for the best amateur wine in Texas.
