Summertime is the best for nerds all around the world, because it is when most conventions take place. This is no exception in Lubbock, because we have a few amazing conventions you can attend this summer, including West Texas ComicCon.

This convention is run by TumbleWeed Events and aims to bring the best comic artists, cosplayers, guest panels, gaming tournaments, and celebrity meet and greets to Lubbock, Texas. This is one of the newest conventions in the Hub city, but that doesn’t mean that there is a shortage of amazing guests, vendors, and more.

Some of the special guests for this year’s convention include comic book artists Scott Johnson, Phil Salazar, and timothy Lim, as well as some of your favorite voice actors like Stephanie Nadolny from Dragon Ball Z, and the voices of Charlie Brown, Lucy Van Pelt, and Peppermint Patty from The Peanuts.

Not only is this a great opportunity to meet these special guests, but you can also meet like-minded fans and shop for merch from your favorite comic books, TV shows, Anime, and more. This is also a great opportunity to get out your best cosplay and show off all the hard work you put into it.
