A former teacher at Meadow High School in Terry County has been arrested for having an inappropriate relationship with a student.

26 year old Adrian Zermeno was charged with the second-degree felony Friday. Zermeno, a math teacher at the high school, was indicted by a Terry County Jury and posted $2,500 bond after turning himself in.

He resigned in back in September of last year after a misconduct report was filed regarding his alleged actions with a student from another school. If found guilty, he faces up to 20 years in prison.
