ODESSA, Texas (AP) — A 23-year-old West Texas man charged with 12 felony counts for a traffic wreck that left three people dead and he and three others hurt has been arrested again for violating his bond conditions.

Ector County District Attorney Bobby Bland says Mark Garrett was arrested Thursday after he tested positive for marijuana use. The Odessa American reports Bland is asking a judge to revoke Garrett's bond.

Odessa police say Mark Garrett was intoxicated and driving at a high rate of speed in June when his car collided with a van, causing both vehicles to erupt in fire. All three people in the van were killed. Two of Garrett's three passengers were hospitalized with serious injuries.

Garrett's injuries weren't as severe. Charges against him include three counts of intoxication manslaughter.
