Mackowiak: Democratic Party May Now Be Too Far Left to Nominate Joe Biden [INTERVIEW]
Tuesday on The Chad Hasty Show political strategist Matt Mackowiak joined Chad to discuss the most recent topics in the national news, as well as from the Texas legislature.
Mackowiak and Hasty talked about Beto O'Rourke's continued search for his inner self and his chances as the Democratic nominee for the White House, as well as other announced and possible candidates, including Kamala Harris and Joe Biden.
While talking about Biden's strengths and weaknesses, Mackowiak said:
I'm not convinced Biden can be nominated. I think this Democratic Party's moved pretty far to the left...Of the Democrats that are out there, I think he's the one that can go after Trump's base, while holding the Democratic base most effectively, and so that concerns me.
Mackowiak and Hasty also discussed the latest from the 86th Texas Legislature, and the continued newsmaking of Senator Kel Seliger and Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick.
